I first decided to try Pitaiyo to increase my flexibility after I recently became serious about improving my health through working out. I am not a naturally flexible person, and never have been, so this was a definite challenge. I had never tried yoga, pilates or tai chi before, so I was a little nervous, but the instructor immediately made me feel welcome. She encouraged me to do whatever I felt comfortable with and corrected my form in a very postive and motivating way. Initially I couldn't bend further forward than to touch just below my knees and now I can touch my toes. My sense of balance and overall strength is also increasing. This is definitely a workout that challenged and benefited me!

Pitaiyo is a class you won’t want to miss~ the music and feeling of relaxation prepare you for a great work out. Pitaiyo is a class that was new to me and now I look forward to it every week. I am stronger and more flexible than I ever imagined, its the perfect combo of mind and body. This class will challenge you but, it is geared for all experience levels.

I absolutely love Pitaiyo; I've only ever missed one class and that was because of work. I work during the day so I go Tuesday evenings and when I see Pitaiyo on the weekends I get so excited. I love the mix of the workout and when I leave class I feel refreshed, calmed, worked out, and stronger (physically and spiritually) all at once. In short, I feel cleansed from the inside out. I can really see an improvement in my poses, flexibility, balance, and muscle strength and while regular yoga and pilates attribute to that as well I give most of the credit to Pitaiyo. Thanks for a great class and I look forward to many classes to come!

I wanted to say thank you for creating this motivating, strengthening and inspiring work out. Back in March, I was stuck in a work and life rut. I was in the middle of my first year of teaching, and while I loved most moments of it, it did not realize how easy it was to get stressed and push my needs aside. Glad I finally got to take Pitaiyo with you. Ill be needing to work on my flexibility before I attempt a few of those level 4's. This was my first ever class that I have taken so I'm no expert on instructors... but you did a really great job. I slept like a baby later that afternoon.
