Janice started her professional career 1988 as a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist. She holds a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and worked in the private orthopedic sector as well as large hospitals for many years.
Janice always had a passion for group exercise and fitness and became a certified AFFA Group Exercise Instructor in the early 1990’s and also holds a Kick boxing Certification. Over the years, Janice became involved in the running community and is member of the Richmond Road Runner’s Club and has recently assisted in coaching the local running groups. She is a strong believer in the mind-body-spirit connection and has continued her education in nutrition and is a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Counselor. Her many years of experience teaching classes of aerobics, weight training, and core have formed a unique style of teaching. Her passion for yoga reflects her belief that the gateway for strength is developed through combining traditional yoga with athletic vigor and mental focus.
She looks forward to continuing on her path as she studies further into the Traditional Eastern Yoga Forms and Tai Chi Practice and brings these art forms to the Richmond area.
